Welcome to the Uganda Bikers' Official Website |
|
The Uganda Bikers (UB) is a non-profit organization primarily involved in three main areas, HIV/AIDS Awareness, providing school fees for Orphans effected by HIV and thirdly the promotion of road safety in Africa and more specifically in our country of Uganda. For this reason we were dubbed "The Ambassadors of Hope" by the Ministry of Health, Government of Uganda in 2004.
The UB membership is made up of a unique blend of Ugandans and foreign nationals residing in Uganda who all share a love of motorcycles and the open road or the mountain pass. The current membership, which includes both women and men is drawn from the following countries; Uganda (as hosts), Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, South Africa, Sudan, Sweden, the UK and the USA.
While most of our rides are within Uganda, we have also had the honour of carrying our message to countries like Burundi, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania and Zambia. We welcome you to join us or otherwise support us in our effort to bring hope to the countless communities we visit on our travels.
We hope you enjoy your visit and that you will come back from time to time to follow us on our adventures, in the meantime kick back and make yourselves at home. |

While we love bikes and enjoy the thrill of riding, its not just about the bikes. We recognise the needs of the community in which we live and ride and therefore, volunteer our time, resources and skills to make a difference. We invite you to join us.
It would be more fun for you if you could ride as well, but you don't have to be a biker to support the cause. If you have a heart for the children of Uganda or are concerned about road safety, then we share something in common and therefore you too can join us as a volunteer to see the changes we all desire. |
